pork, leek and onion sausage roll
makes 6 decent sized rolls
this needs
1pack of filo pastry
1roll of pork sausge meat
2 onions [white]
1 leek [large]
garlic
tomato puree
method
fry onion in olive oil
add garlic and puree to onion and fry more
take off heat and add sausage meat
slice leek into rings and boil until soft
add leek to sausage/onion mix
filo pastry
lay 3 slices of pastry down [use olive or cooking oil between the layers]
add a sixth of the meat mix
fold the pastry over the meat use oil again to stick the pastry
oven part
gas mark 5
place in center of oven for 30 minutes [to concentrate on cooking the meat center]
after 30mins move to the top shelf or a further 30 miutes [to concentrate on browning of the pastry]
